Sorry for the long hiatus. Things have been pretty crazy lately, and I started a new job four weeks ago. I don’t get off of work until 6 every day, so we’re going through what I’m sure most of you have, which is trying to figure out a new work-life balance that pays the bills and keeps the family happy! I say that we have had a lot going on lately, but the truth is, our loved ones have a lot going on lately (mostly lots of people getting married) and after the outpouring of love and support we received from family and friends at our wedding, the least we can do is try our hardest to supply that to the other people we love who are getting married!
This weekend my brother-in-law got married. It was a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple, and they had a beautiful day to do it.
This weekend I also finished the largest knitting project I have ever attempted! I made Keith and Emily this blanket. The pattern is the Cos Cob Throw from Lion Brand Yarn and the yarn is Wool Ease Worsted (also by Lion Brand and one of my favorite yarns to work with). I slightly modified the pattern and added a single crochet border. For size reference, it is on a king-sized bed.
Last weekend, we went to Danville so I could go to Emily’s bachelorette party. Tucker had some fun, too.
